Drowning

A lonely sailor once sailed the seven seas,

He was down from sea sickness and nostalgia creeping like a disease,

The waves was his only comfort,

At night he felt like the boat was his cradle rocking him back and forth,

Then came a night different from the others disturbed him deeply,

For a storm has come to sweep his boat idly,

Everything was a wrecked and the sailor prayed his last,

For he thought he would never moved past,

As much as he tried to hang onto the pieces of wood that has broken down,

The waves ate him up until he drowned,

Drowning in the seas where he spent most of his life,

Struggling, fighting the pain that seemed to cut his insides like a knife,

As the light came closer it was so bright,

It enveloped him leaving the darkness in plight.
